Q. What materials are used for the brushes?
A. A Vonira brush consists of a six times lacquered brush handle made of genuine wood, a resistant brass/ aluminum ferrule and finest natural and synthetic hair. An exception is our bamboo brushes.
Q. Do you use ingredients of animal origin?
A. Yes, we do as Vonira is not an entirely vegan company. However, we offer a wide selection of vegan products and emphasize particularly that all of our products are 100% cruelty free.
Different Nail Art Brush Types
Detail brush - Nicknamed "The Goddess" by customers for it's versatility, this brush is thin and precise, and can be used for just about any nail art design.
Clean up brush - This angled brush allows you to get a smooth, clean finish every time, prolonging the life of your manicure. It's also great for creating and refining french tips.
Striping brush - Horizontal, vertical, diagonal - designed for lines of all sorts, this brush has longer bristles, allowing an easier and more even application.

Nail Art Brush Cleaning and Maintenance
When buying nail art brushes, it is important to buy brush care supplies at the same time. These are not expensive but they are essential to keep brushes usable. Acetone is necessary to remove nail polish but it also damages bristles over time. Therefore, it is better not to leave brushes soaking in acetone for an extended period. For other paints and pigments, brush cleaners or brush conditioners keep bristles in good shape.
Once the brushes are clean, make sure they dry out well. It is best to prevent acetone from getting into the ferrule, or the metal part that holds the bristles, because acetone can dissolve the glue that binds the bristles together. A brush holder cup is useful for holding brushes suspended in a cleaning solution. Never leave brushes resting on the bristles because this permanently bends the brush.
